We have an awful lot to be thankful for this year!
I am very thankful for UY and all the wonderful friends I have here! You all truly make this forum a great place to be! I consider all of you a part of my family, and most of you I like better than my "real" family! A special thanks to the admin team for keeping the site up and running, and thanks to all those who post useful information and organize trips!
Alexus and I are very thankful to my parents who have been so amazingly generous to us over the years; with out them, we would be living in our 4Runner!
A very big debt of gratitude is due to all the members of the armed forces who keep us safe, and risk their lives for their country every day. There are not words to express the gratitude due to them!
Finally, I am very thankful to have had a wonderful person in my life. My Uncle Gary, who was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer early this year is laying on his death bed today. He has been an amazing influence on me and every one he has met. He will leave this world surrounded by the love of his friends, family, and most importantly his 4 children and loving wife. He is not afraid to die except for leaving his young children behind. He is probably the best person I know, and we will miss him always. 26 years ago, on Thanksgiving, he was the first to the hospital when I was born, and asked my parents "So I guess you aren't having Thanksgiving at your house this year?" I love you Gary, and THANK YOU!
So that was depressing....
I'm also thankful for living where I live, in the time I live, and the people I live with. And Bob's Churros. And Mikey's Carne Asada.
I think I'm just hungry at this point!
