I'm looking for a 22RE thermostat outlet with a sensor bung. Does anyone know for sure what year/model this type of 22RE thermostat housing outlet came off of?

I keep hearing '86ish, maybe on turbo trucks and that it was for a high engine temp cut-off for A/C operation. Any help would be appreciated. I found the housing for an '80 Celica looks similar, but that would be a carb'd engine so I'm not sure it would work (4 seasons p/n 84929) . I know the outlets off 22R will not work on a 22RE
