I got them installed and am really happy with how they look. They're nice and quiet on the highway too.

Lance, I ended up going with Cooper Discoverer S/Ts. I have been a very happy BFG customer but the latest AT KO's are only available in load range E. The Coopers are Load Range C, have a similar but more aggressive tread pattern than the BFGs and they are 6 lbs lighter per tire. I hope the durability is there; reviews online are very positive.
Dan, these are 32-1/2"s. They are 275/70R17s, which are 1/2" wider AND 1/2" taller than my 265/75R16s but 1/2" narrower and 1/2" smaller diameter than a 285 (33). They split the difference right down the middle, which is why I went to a 17" wheel. There is nothing similar available in a 16".

Nice! Those are definitely the best factory wheels, and those tires look sweet. Now that I'm not driving 75miles/day I regret not going with more aggressive A/T than the GY Silent Armors. (Then again.. not like I get to off-road anyways.. it would have been more so for mall crawlin'.)

I do like the look of an aggressive tread. My buddy put the 285 Duratracs on his 4Runner and I was impressed how smooth and quiet the ride was for such an aggressive tread. I would have bought those tires but they weren't available in this size. The Coopers are a decent compromise though, considering how much I drive on the road.
I did make one mistake I will pass along. These wheels were originally silver. I stripped them down, primed and painted them with Duplicolor graphite wheel paint and clearcoated them. The slight amount of overspray onto the inside of the wheel is enough to make the wheel weights not stick, they are coming off already. America's Tire told me the day I was there that their roadforce balancer was not working and I was welcome to come back anytime (I have lifetime balance anyway), but before I do I will need to hit the inside of the wheels with acetone or a wire brush so the stick-on weights will stay adhered. The tire shop said they see this all of the time and especially with powdercoated wheels. Just thought I would mention it.
