Hey all

Been on 4x4wire for years, as well as YotaTech, but 4x4wire up and died and I don't know too many people on YT, so I figure I'll give this place a try.

103

This is the rig in my sig. Been in the family since new, been under my care since 2000.

Engine/Mechanical:

212,000 mile 22R (last year of the carbureted 4WDs)
EngineBuilder head/cam/valves. Honestly, I forget if it's the 261 or 268 cam. Idles fine at 750 and revs to redline easily, so whichever one has those characteristics.
2.25 catback exhaust from a local shop and a Magnaflow muffler. Crummy weld job is rusting out, so I'll likely be re-doing it within the next year or so. May step down to 2" pipe to try to regain some low end torque.
3 core CSF radiator

Drivetrain:

Marlin HD clutch and short shifter on original G54
Stock gears in transfer case and diffs
Powdercoated factory wheels
225/75/15 (factory) General Grabber AT2s
Poly bushings everywhere
eBay Black Diamond shocks, crummy generic replacement leafs in the rear, already sagged again

Interior:

SR5 door panels, bucket seats
Tacoma center console
Subaru subwoofer
02 Camry Solara AM/FM/CD/Tape double DIN unit
SR5 cluster
Factory rear speakers

I'm probably forgetting some things. There's always more done to it than I realize. Mostly I just want to keep it a streetable rig that can handle some basic off road duty as well.

Good to see you here Parrish! This forum has a great community of people and you'll probably recognize a few folks from the 4x4wire days.
