Happy New Years Guys, and Gals!!

I hope everyone is having a fun and safe NYE.

Anybody got any new resolutions for 2014?

Mine are simple.

Read at least 12 books this year and buy at least two new guns.

EDIT: and something or another about being less fat. haha.

Happy New Year.

It's 7:30 Pacific time and my kids just went to sleep so my chances of staying up are slim which is fine since they wake up around 0530.

I like the two new guns idea. I was going to pull the trigger, haha, last week but wasn't in a rush and am having trouble finding the model I want at the price I know it should be. I'm more in a rush for ball joints so those were ordered.

happy new year y'all!

trying to slim down... but then again I think we've all been trying to do that for some time now right? ha

no new toys for me anytime soon. maybe try to revive the 4runner. that is in the works but who knows how long that'll take.

plans or resolutions? lol

like everyone else, need to drop some lbs. Made harder since i've had some health issues this past 1/2 year and as a result, my workouts have declined and my weight gone up.

trying to get a new job or position is definitely a 2013 goal i didn't achieve but shooting again for something new and exciting.

bringing my gf out here to CA. which would entail finding her a job out here too. anyone know anyone in the architecture world?

finishing my AK modifications and possibly (a big possibly) building up my AR. but i'd like to take a pistol shooting class(-es) too which might be a few hundred as i'm told

deciding on whether or not to keep the bmw.

No resolutions but I've been training for a half marathon on the 19th so depending on how it goes, I might spend this year training for the full marathon in 2015. It's funny, I've always absolutely HATED running and haven't run since high school. I've found that after you get fit enough where 2-3 miles is easy, doing up to 8 miles becomes easy and fun. After 8 miles, my leg strength is the limiting factor and they get tired, but my cardio is just fine. I'm not sure how the half marathon is going to go, though, because I hurt my knee a little while ago so hopefully if I take it easy it'll be ok during the race.

On the gun side of things, I'm going to get a .22 suppressor, but eventually I'd like to put together a 300 blackout and get a 30 cal suppressor.
