rear fender mods for clearence

Lots of reasons you might want to mod the rear fenders but I needed to clearance them for tucking tires while flexed. I wanted something to clear, not cut a tire, and not allow the layers of the fender to rust out. There is probably a better way to do this but I cut, pounded, painted, sealed, and rubberized.

here's how far it can physically tuck when the shock is all the way compressed. Its the same on both sides.

some views of the cuts and hammering. The driver side split funny. I know I had to hammer it alot more to clear then the passenger side so maybe at a point it will just separate.
