I really wanna make it this year! Maybe I can talk the wife into it lol. Don't know how much I would muck around in the sand but I can make a hulluva good BBQ!

You will enjoy the sand. I always say the same thing and then find myself really enjoying the dunes.

Once again, I'll be missing Pismo! That makes... pretty much all of them.... consecutively.
Oh well, have fun! I'll make it next year for sure. (I seem to remember saying that before.)

Yep. All I need is a packed ice chest and a change of clothes and I'll be set.

The wife and I are discussing. It's right at the time I find out whether or not I get to stay in uniform or not lol. It would probably just be me this year.

Don't count me out though. I'm trying.

Thanks, Lance! I put a flag mount on the 80 today, mounted up my Hi-Lift, and added a stop to my swing out so the jack doesn't hit my tail light. Still have to dust off the camping gear, and do a little preventative maintenance on the Cruiser, then we're set.

Here it is...

Yeah, I miss that 4Runner at times. Just outgrew the thing. The 240Z is in the UK now. Loving the 80 now, and all the kids fit...lol. See you at Pismo.

Pismo is out for me. Expenses forced by work just took care of that. I wish I could make it fellas. Things might change but I doubt it.

Lance & Chris,

Any updates? What do the new shirts/stickers look like this year? I haven't seen any new updates on the actual website.

Let me know!

Thanks,

The Northern California group is headed down Thursday night. 8-10 trucks, and about 20 or so people. We go crazy every year as always, so be sure to swing by Green Camp and say hi!

Sean, we're due Friday mid-day so we'll look for you.

I see a Green Camp rig about once a month here at home but will swing by during the weekend.

Hey 4x4mike,

A majority of the group is located in Sacramento/Roseville. Which truck is it?

I forget names but I've seen you once on surface streets and a few times on 50. I live near Lake Natoma so I see your brother with his kayaks often or over in Roseville. Mostly I see the T100 with the Hella lights on the bumper going up Hazel.

Hey Mike,

The black Tacoma with the Kayaks is my brother. Mktaco_98 I believe his username is. The T100 is my cousin. He recently got into Toyotas, we convinced him to get away from Jeeps. I actually convinced him to come down to Pismo last year and that's when the bug hit him. Its now lifted 4-5" on 35s.

There's quite a few of us rolling around with the stickers on the bottom of the windshield. I have one on my blue 1st gen and there's a white FZJ80 floating around as well.

Sorry about that guys I totally forgot to show you guys this year's tee color. Went with a heather blue on a poly cotton tee which will feel more comfortable than a regular cotton tee (especially in this ugly weather we're all facing).

I have the stickers sent to a shop but am fearing the worst as they may not have them ready in time. crossing fingers. worst case I'll just have to mail it to everyone. grrr

Hey Lance,

Thanks for the reply.

Looks good, hopefully we get the stickers in.

How do you want to accept payment? Or can we just pay you a visit at your booth on the beach and get everything taken care of there?

Let me know so i can let everyone else know!

Thanks,

Sean's hair was a mess when I got there. Lucky for us it was sunny and he wore a hat the rest of the weekend.

Nice seeing you Adam. Your kids were awesome and your two youngest were the politest little boys I've ever met. I also loved heckles your daughter was giving the other Adam.

It was great finally getting to meet and wheel with the names I've heard 4x4mike talk about for years. I appreciate the encouragement (mostly) from the veterans...I've spent many days in the dunes, but not in my daily driver...was certainly intimidating. Looking forward to not being the new guy next year, and hopefully avoid the mocking by children. My psychiatrist says I should recover.

Thanks for a great weekend!
