Hahaha! Yeah everyone was fine. Just a pisser I didn't even have it 6 weeks.

I'll visit the shop today. So far the estimate has approximately doubled to ~9k. I'll know more later today.

Once they pull the plastic bumper cover off and pulled the inside of the trunk apart, it was easier to see all of the damage.

Talked to the shop guy for a while. He had another Fusion next to it with much more extensive damage to the quarter panel area, they were putting a new one on. That is not necessary on mine, but I do have a new trunk lid. They are awaiting some more parts and for the frame table to become available so they can straighten out the truck box. Once that happens, there will probably be very little to be done to the quarter panels. Rear glass has been removed for paint prep.

Dropped off the spoiler to them today, so that is going to be cool to have.

Glad to see it being worked on. I can't wait to have it back. I am forgoing the rental car in exchange for a check for the equivalent value. This way I don't have to worry about drive way space for another few weeks, and can put that money into the Honda, which needs it bad.

ouch! and a tacoma of all things give you some lovin from behind! looked like a gentle love tap but clearly the photos say otherwise. good to hear you're a-ok!

Glad to hear you're ok as well man. It's all so ironic though. Too bad they just dropped the value of your car by a huge margin. That's something they don't compensate you for but should honestly.

Yeah, that is something I worry about. Pisses me off pretty bad that I have to suffer that with no recourse because someone had to say "LOL" to someone else instead of paying attention to the road...

I am actually very OK. No pain at all, except for immediately after the accident. I was expecting to at least be sore, but no more pain than normal!
