Went to Farmington this past weekend to run with the local TTORA guys. I ran a couple of extreme trails to make sure we could do them when the TTORA takeover came around.

I don't have any pics just yet, but here are some videos:

Big Johnson (http://www.hunt4steve.com/videos/Farmington_Big_Johnson.wmv)

Waterfall 1st obstacle called Riff-Raff (http://www.hunt4steve.com/videos/Farmington_Waterfall_1stObstacle1.MOV). (QuickTime player required) (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html)Those who have large front bumpers, such as TJM or ARB, need not even try this obstacle. I barely made it up with my bumper, and I scraped up the front to get a tire on the wall.

Waterfall 1st obstacle, (http://www.hunt4steve.com/videos/Farmington_Waterfall_1stObstacle2.MOV) (QuickTime player required) (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html)from a different view

Waterfall, 2nd obstacle. (http://www.hunt4steve.com/videos/Farmington_Waterfall_2ndObstacle.wmv) If you listen carefully, you can hear the left rear fender flare crunching in. Then it pops back out a little later.

Thanks. In my opinion, if you can get through these kind of obstacles, you have an Ultimate Yota.

Yeah, its was pretty steep. That was the steepest I have ever been in the 4Runner. When I get around posting my pictures, you can really see how steep it is. Pretty wild ride. You won't see many 3rd Generation 4Runners on that kind of trail.....

Thanks Cleansr5.

I just updated the Garage folder to show how the rig handles on the highway. I get quite a few questions about how this handles on the road, such as wandering, shimmy, etc. So, I put up a video to showing one-handed steering on the highway.

Awesome rig and sweet videos!
You are doing some pretty hardcode trails.... are you thinking about doing an exo-cage?

Also when are you going to start selling the "SteveO 3rd gen SAS Conversion Kit"? lol, j/k :P

Thanks Crux, it was loads of fun. As for the exo-cage, naw, too much metal and too much weight. If I want to do the really ugly stuff, like Heldorado in Moab, I'll build a buggy. For now, I'm going were I want to go.

"SteveO 3rd Gen SAS Conversion Kit".......Now that is a lot of work, too much work for the time I currently have for wheeling. Right now I'm working with another guy as a consultant to him on how to get his 4Runner setup like mine. He has his rig in a 4x4 shop for 9 months, and they still can't get it right. He may be flying out to see my rig up close and personal, take some measuremtents and get some more information as to why my rig does so well on the trials and on the highway. That's probably as far as I would go in terms of helping people.
