75w140 differential fluid?

Ok, so when I had my Jeep, it was advised to use 75w140 synthetic if I was going to tow. So I bought some Amsoil 75w140. I know that most of you use 80w90. Will this work, as well? Or should I try to get an exchange from Amsoil?

Just called Amsoil. I can return them and get credit back on my card. I bought these in January of this year. Wow. Really impressed that they'd take them back.

with 75W140, you got more shock protection but is not as fuel efficient as the 75W90 grade.

I use Red Line 75W90.
