Thats what I thought... but a ferry in the middle of utah? You can see desert in the distance.

I think it is a ferry for Lake Powell.

You got it! Its the ferry for lake powell. Kinda cool to take a ferry ride in the middle of the desert!

Monument valley was okay... well actually I hated it. I had seen just as spectacular of things on the rest of the trip and there I was with TONS of tourists around on buses, jeep tours, Native Americans asking for money to take a pic of you with them etc...

Got a couple of good pics. Random, but its like the let down of when I found out the pyramids were not in the middle of the desert, but I sat at pizza hut looking at the sphinx 50 yards away and realized it couldn't take away from the beauty of it, but it took away from the experience...

I'm willing to bet on a quieter day I would have had a very different experience, but since I had built it up in my mind as being an adventure, it can't live up to that when there is a ptcruiser ahead of you and a giant bus behind you.
