Drink Advice

I drink. Some times to the point of excess. Whatever.

I am going camping this weekend. I hate drinking too much beer, I have finally made it to 250 and want to keep heading towards to 240. Some drinking is all right, so leave me alone.

So, I am seeking guidance of good, easy mixing. Preference for something women will like and enjoy in appropriate quantity without being fall down drunk. Naked is fine, but fall down drunk is just a drag.

Lately Absolut Pear and Diet Sprite has been a knock out.

I am thinking Peach Fresca and Peach Absolut could be similarly good.

Any other point and shoot pairings for camping?

Limaronas! Although it has beer.

Screwdrivers are good camping plus you can drink them in the morning too!

It has beer but I really like the Snake Bite which is a drink I found when I was stationed in Europe.

1/2 pint of Lager
1/2 pint of Cider
Couple of splashes of Black Current to give it some color

Adjust the amounts to keep your "guest" from getting too sloppy.

I don't know if your up for it.
I was always a fan of a good gin and tonic.
But it has to be Bombay Sapphire gin or its not a good gin and tonic.
Also those Smirnoff Ice Drinks are pretty good.
Only 5% alcohol and a great taste imho.

My favorite drink is actually a shot but you can make it into a drink very easily. Its called Silk Panites.

1 part crown royal
1 part peach schnapps
splash with cranberry juice



You can also add sprite or ginger ale if making it a drink and not a shot.

My other favorite is a california car bomb.

1 shot orange vodka
red bull
cranberry juice
mix red bull and cranberry and drop vodka shot into mix.

I like to Make that one a drink too by just pouring the shot instead of dropping it....

Both very good drinks and because i am a girl i can say they are chic approved :D

Seaspray - Absolute Citron with lemonade and a little soda water. The official drink of summer for me.

Another great Captain drink the Spiced rum, and Doctor Pepper. Can never go wrong with that.

Smirnoff Vodka and Watermelon pucker.

1 shot of smirnoff to 2 shots of pucker, mix them together to make the shots.... Good stuff, i even like it.

We call Captain and Dr. Pepper, "Dr. Feelgood." It always works.

Lightish, sweet and fruity are where it's at. Good suggestions so far.

If you want one that can really sneak up on people, try a yellowbird.

There's many ways to make it but this is common:
1 oz. Light Rum
1/4 oz. Galliano
1/4 oz. Creme de Banana
2 oz. Orange Juice
2 oz. Pineapple Juice

If you want it very sweet you can do it this way:
3/4 oz. Apricot Brandy
3/4 oz. Banana Liqueur
3/4 oz. Coconut Rum
4 oz. Orange Juice


You really gotta limit people's intake of these because they go down WAY too easy even at full strength. If you want to stretch them out just add more juice (mango juice is awesome too).

you could do what we did in mexico... ran out of vodka for Bloody Mary's so we made Bloody Maria's... use Tequila instead of vodka... it honestly not as gross as it sounds after about 3.

i dont usually mix drinks..but i dont strictly stick with highballs/cocktails either. its either beer only..or beer+ ___. my favourite combo of drinks though is

ceasar & beer...double fisting.

if its mixed/blender only..i usually stick to the usuals. G&S (gin/7), tom collins, rye & 7. but im a lightweight..and too much hard alcohol = me puking

Jack and coke is always a good one for me. For the girls usually cosmos or lemon drops.

That's called a creme soda!! I love those... Is it going to be cold out where you are??? I like Buttershots in Coffee, very tasty and fun but not falling down drunk.... TJ
