The beauty about this case is that you can keep your tc so those with the full time case on the 4runner/fj can maintain all of the goodies while getting that extra ultra low gear :)

Enjoy!

 I was reading about that. Too bad I have been instructed "Hands off" the tacoma. That's alright though trying to build up the 4runner and the trailer is enough $$$ as it is.

Inchworm has provided their geared case for the newer gen tacomas/fjs/4runners for a while called the lefty

however like goodtimes mentioned this one keeps full time 4wd, the inchworm is parttime and its a geared case, no duals but you can get 4.1, 4.7, 5 and 5.7

My truck is the automatic so you can enjoy the crawler and all the other benifits your tc provides. I'll post up other pictures as I get them.

I was actually talking about my 93 4runner automatic not being as easy to switch to duals.

Very nice, thanks for the pics. Do you have pics of the interior and how it got trimmed out around your new stick? I like where you have it coming up where that little pocket was.
That would be sweet if I could convince the wife that she needs duals for her taco. :D

I was Jim's prototype vehicle for the lefty tcase. I run the Inchworm Lefty and crawl box in my FJ Cruiser. If you have sufficient room between the tcase and gas tank them you can run a your existing tcase with an Incworm crawl box. Jim has had a crawler for the 05+ since last summer.

You can feel the transmission shifting through the gear quickly. I find that it's actually helpful in clearing certain obstables. Most of the time I leave the A/T in "D" and let it do it's thing. Every now and then I will put is in 1st to prevent up shifting when descending obstacles.

I'll get some pictures of the interior for you when I get it back from Marlin.
