Big Bear, CA 6-2-7 *Death to 56k*

Wheeled Big Bear this past weekend. TONS of fun. Did Gold Mountain first then John Bull and then Dishpan Springs. Wanted to get Holcomb Creek but didnt get a chance. Next time for sure. This was my first official "Difficult" trails. It was awesome. My partner from work went with me in his FJ but after a flat on Gold Mountain and a blown shock on John Bull he boned out on me to go fishing. I finished the day on Dishpan Springs with a couple Jeep guy i met. They were much more fun to wheel with. They didnt worry about little brush scratches etc. in their paint like the pansy in the FJ. Needless to say, i will never wheel with the "My truck is too pretty to be out here, Im going to ditch you and you have to wheel by yourself now." FJ pansy. Just not cool. Now onto the pics.......

Dishpan Springs. Going down the Waterfall. Not many pics here. One of the Jeeps got into quite a sketchy situation and that took most of our attention. Especially my Wife's (Camera Person).

I didn't do John Bull because of the traffic. I did it last year though, and I love that trail!

Keep an eye on the trip planning and join us...we don't have enough 3rd gen 4runners :bowdown:

Haha. No doubt. Believe me, i have lots of pinstriping. I have definitely been keeping an eye out for upcomming trips. Cant wait to run with Yotas.

Marc, i imagine that the there was a bit of traffic memorial weekend on the trails, thats the reason i waited another week. Hardly any traffic anywhere. Definitely good times out there.

JB is a fun trail.

I'd really like to hit BB again, probably this summer before mid-July. Either that or a night run at Miller Jeep trail, look for a thread in the trip-planning section sooner or later.

so im looking to hit up a trail on friday, something moderate and fun, technical but not requiring lockers or sliders. something in the arrowhead/bigbear area. im going up with my mom before we go on our trip. (mom would freak at alot of that stuff up there, but she needs to know that i wheel safely)

any suggestions?
