My '89 pickup's blower motor is missing the low two speeds on the blower motor. The two high speeds work and it does not make any strange sounds when it is on. Any ideas as to what it is?

If its not the resistor, take a look at the switch. Those things are notorious for failing.

yeah, check the resister, that fixed mine. 9 bucks at the dealer.

I had to replace my switch once. All I had was high. Autozone didn't have one for the 4Runner, but turns out one from a Previa (that or a Camry-don't remember) is identical.

Hmm, I need to look at this too. Mine doesn't work on the lowest setting.

I had a very similar problem (no medium, only hi and very low) and it was the switch. Changed the switch, no more problem.
