So I bought an 84 pickup about a month ago. Since I don't have any immediately available pictures of the work I've done to it so far I'll just have to write a bunch for now.

I was surfing some messages on the YT board and I don't remember how I ran across it, but someone asked our buddy Fuster if the truck was for sale. Fuster replied the truck is free with the 2500 dollar toolbox on the back. When I saw this I jumped on the opportunity like a warrior. I sent a PM to fuster expressing my interest in buying the pickup. Before this, I was intimidated by Fuster, what with his use of big words and his obvious brainial capacity

Fuster sent me pictures..

So here's this truck in Arizona. I had to cancel my first trip to go pick up the pickup partly due to weather, but also my lack of patience when it comes to electrical problems and vehicles. I flew out a couple weeks later and finally met Fuster. Let me say.. his 4runner is frickin sweet! The pictures in his build up do NO justice to just how sweet it is.

As I'm driving home, I took the north route from Phoenix to flagstaff. I drove and drove.. and drove some more until I came to a casino, out in the middle of nowhere. I pulled off the highway and parked in the farthest parking spot I could find. I slept for 2 hours inside the cab. I kept driving and made it to Holbrook before I slept again, this time for 3 hours. From Holbrook I filled up and made it all the way to ABQ. 230 miles and the truck only burned 10 gallons. I made the final leap from ABQ to Santa Fe. There I started work the same day. I replaced the wing window that had been taped (thanks fuster for the extra window!). I also did some other minor things, then I took pictures of my 4runner and pickup together.

Since then, I've began to paint the undercarriage with a flat black industrial paint. It's coming out really good too. I also had to replace the radiator with a bigger one(thanks again to Fuster) due to a cooling problem.

My plans for the truck.. First thing is get it painted. I want it green like my 4runner (2nd Gen) with black rims. I've already began sanding parts of the truck. After that, I'm going to purchase some new tires for it. It's got 31x10.5s on it now so I'm sticking with that. I got a good hookup at Discount tires so I hope I can get something cheap

Thats all I got for now. I'm gonna get some pics of the truck posted as soon as I can.

Well it's so obvious in your avatar I didn't feel it warranted mentioning....
