Haven't seen this come up yet, so I figured I'd start a thread and post up a couple pics.
This was really easy to change, with everything pulled apart and the axle out of the way :tapedshut:
It's kind of buried under the intake, and above the starter.

just had to peek inside the old one, think it was due to be changed. I don't know how long this one had been on the truck, but from the way it was installed I think it was not original. 4runner has 170k on it.

I'll probably change it out again after another 75 - 100k.

I made sure to use the 4 new washers that came with the new filter. Can anyone tell me how hard I need to tighten them down?
EDIT: oh yeah, 12mm for the bolt to the engine block, 17mm for the 'bolts' that attach the fuel lines to the filter.
