I was thinking about my grandfather the other day...just trying to keep the memories fresh and I thought about him and his Toyotas (I come from a long line of Toyota lovers). He used to own 2 Coronas. He loved those cars.
Anyway, I was thinking back to how he used to say Toyota...he would pronounce it Tie-oda. My family used to think it was so funny. Well one day his brother was over and they of course were talking about Toyotas. The whole time my uncle Ben was pronouncing Toyota, Tie-odee. Finally, my grandfather says, and I quote, "Damnit Ben, it's Tie-oda not Tie-odee!" We just about died laughing. I'll never forget that memory of him. LOL, it still makes me laugh to this day.
Thanks for letting me share!
