I want to remove the TRD sticker on my truck. What is the preferred method? What chemicals do you use?

I was thinking of using goo gone but I thought I would ask first.

A little heat to get the plastic off, then WD40 for the adhesive.

I am in the middle of my 'poor man'(smart man) black pearl emblem mod...I am using the heat gun/Goo-gone combo, and it worked like a charm. Watch the heat of the heat gun though...Good luck!

Done!

Used a hair dryer on low heat and WD40. Looks great!

Goo Gone stuff is very good. I should however warn you that you will loose at least 20-30 horse power by taking the stickers off. LOL

That it is rumored that TRD stickers give you 20-30 hp. Worked on my 4Runner. Bruce got 50hp. LOL

I didnt want to take them off but I was noticing some
surface rust underneath the sticker.

I am thinking of completely de-badging my truck.

3M also makes an adhesive remover that you can get at a local parts store. The stuff works with out heat. TJ
