hey guys i have 245/75/16's on now.. it seems like i have plenty of clearence. would it be ok to run 265/75/16's?? i kind of wanted something a little taller and slightly wider. what do you guys think? its a 2002 4door tacoma 4x4 btw

Hopefully Oly will chime in on this subject later.
I believe they will fit the wheelwells fine, but they will also rub the frame at full turn.

i wonder if there would be much difference in mpg.. yeah i would like to know if they would rub. i know that the 265/70/16 shouldnt rub from what i was told but the 75's are slightly taller

Unless you're lifted I would just go with the 265/70's which will save some MPG (not alot, but every bit helps) and won't rub.

one of the guys here run 365/75/r16 and he says it doesnt rub. i cant remember who it was though..hmm... in comparison with my current 245/75/r16's how are the 265/70/r16's in size and width?? is it worth bumping up a size?

265/70R16's to a 265/75R16 will go up approx 1 inch in diameter. It will depend on what kind of rims you have and the offset. I don't think you will rub. You will have a decrease in power and MPG. I went from 225's on my Pickup to 31's and there was a big difference.

365/75r16 is roughly a 38x14. Whoever has that probably has some serious lift.

265/70r16 is a 30.6" tall, 10.4 wide tire

265/75r16 is a 31.6" tall, 10.4 wide tire

245/75r16 is a 30.5" tall, 9.7 wide tire

Axle it was a typo on the 365, my bad. i was talking about 265 and thanks for the measurements!!
