Always ask friends first so...
I moved up to HD ( for obvious reasons if you know me) and the Standard Def Tivos are not cutting it. The series 3's are a bit much for me. So i moved over to the cable DVRs.
For sale an 80hr series 2 Tivo w/ USB network adaptor - $80 + shipping
For sale a 40hr series 2 Tivo w/ USB network adaptor - $40 + Shipping
There is nothing wrong with either unit, have the box for at least one of them still. All power cords and remotes are accounted for.
All proceeds will go to the "Help Reggie get a Locker for the 4Runner fund".
Thank you.

reg,
i dont know jack about tivos and the fee structure (wifey take care of that but is asleep right now). now if i buy one of these units, do i need to pay a monthly subscription fee to directv? not for the tivo unit of course, but to have a 2nd connected tivo unit? if the answer is "no", i'm buying one of these puppies :D

Both sold
Bob,
If you are on DirecTv call em up and ask to upgrade to the DVR tuner. And if they wont switch to Dish :flipoff:
If you wanted the Tivo, there is not payment to DirecTv but there is to Tivo. The Sat Tuner should net you dual tuners, with no network ability, the Tivo (unless you get the dual tuner which requires two sources) you only get single tuner but you get network ability which is IMO better.
