Corral Canyon 7/14/7

We did Sidewinder and Bronco Peak. Had lots of fun with the Toyota LC's from ih8mud.com today. Had a few recovery's as well, but all in all had a wonderful day.

What did you guys do about the bent steering arm on the 80??

Well, we used 3 tools in combination. We used a racket strap to keep tension on it, and a bottle jack to press it upward, and then used my winch to bend it back out. We got that thing near straight in about an hour.

Looks like another good run Mike. That was an unusual recovery with the Jeep. How did he manage to find the only rock that would hang him up on the wide trail. LOL Happens to us all sooner or later. Cool that you could help him out!

This site is just a bit more more difficult to nav than some others. I really like the program that Adv 4x4 has going. I think it is the same as YT's but doesn't seem to have any server issues like YT.

Can't wait until I move back to San Diego next year!

I used to run Corral Canyon, and camp out there when I was stationed out in San Diego before. My truck has evolved quite a bit since then, so it'll be nice to hit these trails with you guys when I get back out there.
