Neli,

I would suggest looking into an expedition trailer. I am looking into getting one in the military style. That way it would serve as a dual purpose trailer. Me, I am going to get it for draggin deer and use it for hauling gear for camping as well. FlyingWil has some good insight into these trailers. As with all things, you can spend quite a bit on these rigs.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

BWJ

Like Jimbo said the trailers at Harbor Freight are hard to beet for price/value.

I have seen lots of them used for many diff purposes. The 12" wheel model has enough clearance to take it to the camp sites but not on the actual trails. It is super light and you can configure it to you specific needs. The kicker on this one is that if folds up for storage.

Wow, I haven't seen anything like that before.
Anyone on the board have one of these?

SmilingJim or one of his son's has one. They had it out to superstition 9 last Jan. They said it worked great. They were using it to haul dirt bikes and camping gear.

I have considered getting one myself because I no longer have a pick up. The deck is exactly 4x8 so a sheet of plywood becomes your flatform and the frame has stake pockets built into it for a short rail.
