This is an example of using powder coating as a base for wet paint for a durable finish. Just a little more info for you guys out there :smokin:

That's pretty cool. Like we were talking about the other day last I had heard body panels couldn't be coated because the heat would warp them but I guess they have found a way to do it without warpage. I think it is a great way to prevent rust and get a good base to work off of. I agree with their afterthought though.. Who in the world made the decision to powdercoat that thing before the cage and all the welding was done?!?

Right! Looks to me that they would have waited til everything was complete first.
