Reminds me of that quake in cali some time ago (mid 80's iirc) where a guy was nearly crushed in his chevy pickup between two expressways that collapsed, he survived as well.

yea loma creata (sp?) quake is 89 pancaked the cypressway viaduct (IIRC) in oakland.

obvoiously that survival story had much less to do with the car than the apparent hand of god, but i still think its great!
