I never did make an official post on this and I finally have pictures, so here it is.

A couple months ago I had ARB lockers installed front and rear and regeared to 5.29s. I got a completely setup used third member with new ARB and new gears from a guy on Pirate. Unfortunately, I didn't look before I lept so it doesn't have the ABS port, but oh well. I got the front ARB from performance off road and brand new gears from a member here. For the front install, Rear End Specialties in Santa Clara came highly recommended. My friend and I installed the rear which ended up taking 9 hours for us amateurs. We had stupid/trivial problems with the 3rd member removal, drum brakes and drive shaft/pinion flange which took a lot of time. Marlin supplied the ARB compressor which I installed in the engine compartment by moving the cruise control and the ignitor.

Rear: $1000
Front locker: $600
Front gears: $100
Front install: $400
ARB compressor: $200
Misc: $200 (various ARB switches/solenoids and things I can't remember)

Total: $2500

The pinion seal ended up leaking in the used 3rd member I got, but I had that fixed by rear end specialties for $65. I ended up mounting all three switches in the center console near the shifters. I made some new holes with a dremel and my trusty pocket knife and the rear window and lockout switches were moved and the ARB switches installed. The only thing I'm worried about now is that my little dog might accidentally hit the switches when she's walking around. Eventually, I'm going to install a cut off switch for the compressor switch as a safety precaution.

So it's been 2 months now and I still haven't use them! Hopefully that will change next weekend.

I would have been using them asap if I were to have installed them in my truck. I would use them without reason. You haven't even made sure that they work? I can't imagine spending that much money on something and not using them.

You'll have to post up here and let us know how they work out for you when you hit up a trail and own the spots that gave you trouble before.

I bet you ten bucks that he rips out his ARB IFS front end and replaces it with a solid axle. :D

This would be a great deal if it wasn't a 5.29 and already installed. I wouldn't mind having an ARB locker instead of a lunchbox locker. Any chance of a seperation?
