Miller Jeep Trail. 09-02-07

I know there has been some wheelin' lately with Big Bear and June lake but i didnt go to either and i want to wheel. I was thinking Miller Jeep Trail Labor Day Weekend, the 2nd, Sunday. For those who want to, consider it going to church. Haha. I figure that we could meet up at the "Flying J Travel Plaza" (42810 Frazier Mountain Rd, Lebec, CA 93243) thats right off the I5. Say 8am and leave shortly after that. Do Miller Jeep Trail and then afterwards if there is time and we are willing we could go screw around in the Hungry Valley SVRA. Yeah?

i might be up for that, not sure what my planned labor day festivities include. it also depends on when sliders get here.

im going to try to get some skid plates fabbed up this weekend, but my touch screen takes priority, im sick of not having my computer in there!

As for this weekend...Justin and I are getting a room on Saturday night at the Best Rest Inn; right next to the meeting spot. Not sure if anyone else is coming in Saturday night...if you are, post up and maybe we can make plans to get dinner together.

Got both lower control arms swapped out, but I still need to do the front end alignment, change the diff oil and re-install the front skid plate. Just waiting for the sun to go down, too hot!

Sorry, gonna have to pass on this one... Got the alignment done and diff oil changed, but during my test drive I kept hearing a clunk, so I've been checking all the links for a loose one and found that the front axle I installed was missing the inner dust shield, so now I have to pull it apart again and install one. I still haven't found what was making the clunking noise, so that's my task tomorrow. Can't take any chances this close to running the Rubicon. I probably could have gotten most done tonight, but it's getting late and I'm just too tired to finish then pack......
