If anyone has been interested in tubed safari doors for their 3rd gen 4runner, you already know you'll turn up nothing when looking for a retailer. Your only option was to inquire with a local fabber....until now! I'm in negotiations with Shaffer's Offroad based out of Carson City, NV. They are willing to start fabbing sets if I can give them 10 potential buyers. Here's the link, post over there if you are interested

You assured a market? Interesting.

If 10 people pony up the bucks, I will stand in awe.

I'm not sure if you are the one who emailed me but we are looking for a rig and don't require 10 other sales to build the prototypes. If I don't have a few sold I only charge materials, but if you can get a few orders together the guy who comes for the measurements will get the doors free.

Northern IL is where we're located.

there is undoubtedly a market. yeah, getting 10 people won't be easy but it can be done, it's just a matter of sifting through all those who were interested over the last year and deciding if they are serious are not

You are going to run into the same problem Steve did with his IFS trusses...plenty of interest but few who are willing to actually pony up the dough. I hope you get what you want, but you need to be a bit pessimistic when it come to stuff like this.

You gotta figure... 2 years old, and nothing about a mass buy...

Baby-leash on the drivetrain? That is a really bad spot to have a coiled air line hanging.

We were airing up our tires, that's just the air line from the compressors in my cargo area.
