This is for my wifes '95 Runner with 130K on the ticker. Trying to figure out
where the leak is and wanted some opinions from the masses. Both pics are
views of the t-case. THe first one I thought I just needed to tighten the
nut inside the speedo cable but this didn't work. Is there an O-ring I
should be replacing?

Along with the above leak there seems to be something leaking from near the
shifter and/or whatever the left arrow is pointing to.

Thanks in advance

Andy...mine has been leaking from the speedo cable too. I put some RTV around it and it has slowed down. Let me know what you do to fix it.

I need to go to Autozone and get a chematic on it. I think I'm missing
an O-ring somewhere. I'll keep you posted.

(pdf link) http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-buchanan/93fsm/transfer/15componen.pdf looks like there is suppose to be an o ring there, at least assuming thats the correct tcase. looks like either case requires a non reusable o ring.

heres the whole FSM:

All those black diamonds on the schematic drawings indicate o-rings so I too would bet that your o-rings are dried up, damaged or missing altogether. Once you replace them, the leaks should stop.
