Okay, I fiqured since the e-locked axle that I picked up is waiting to be installed I'd get a few things for it. Has any had experience with the below product and would you recommend it?

Granted I don't do alot of rock crawling type wheeling but I want to keep my stuff protected.

Its a bit expensive for what it is. Allpro has one for $59 and sky has one for $39 that will do the same thing. I believe the allpro one is being re-designed because it has a clearance problem with the tacoma gas tank.

i dont think the Sky Manufacturing one looks quite as good from the side, and i also beleive the Allpro one is being redesigned, but I have only ever heard good things about the inchworm skid.

i have the sky manufactruing one but it has not been 'tested', so to speak. all of the locker guards are better than nothing, thats for sure. as far as the complete coverage of the inchworm one, yeah, it looks like the best but it sure is spendy. but then again, so is that locker motor! i figure that the odds of damaging it on the side of the motore are much much less than the bottom, which all three seem to adequately address.

bob, speaking of this, when is your write up going live on the wiki? i want to do the mod, but searching, esp at TOF, is impossible, and i dont dare ask the question over there...

so i wait patiently on your swap writeup!

Thanks for the replies. Sky, all pro and marlin crawler all offer the guard but they leave the side open while inchworm doesn't but has the front plate a little lower than the other.
So I guess it just going to be a toss up between the four.
