In default display (as like right now) i see the navbar at the top of the screen with the forum path i took to get to where I am. Anytime I qoute a post, or modify my own post, once it is posted I get my user info at the top of the screen. I can no longer access the Navbar. I have to retype the url for UY to get back to the home page and get my nav bar back. Any ideas?

This is what I get when I qoute someone...

I have cleared the cookies, and all temp files, and restarted my broswer. Any ideas?

That's a quirk that should only happen once in a while. Until the makers of the bridge software have another release, we're stuck with it for the time being. I haven't checked for a while, but there might be a new patch available...

What browser is that? The logo should have a transparent background.

I've had the same thing happen to me quite often, but like Mike said, it will do it for awhile and then everything works fine for awhile.

the browser is Maxthon, it is a tabbed browser, and it has a lot of features I really like. plus you can set all the tabs to auto refresh at intervals, which is handy for checking Forums, and Ebay. :)

The Logo looks the same to me with Maxthon, or IE...

Here is my Home Page in Maxthon.

Looks like I need to make an addition to the extra stuff that needs to be added to pages for IE to work right. IE doesn't display the columns in the correct width it appears.

Mike has a nice monitor with good resolution. :)

Logo looks neat. Never knew it was supposed to look like that. lol.

What version of IE you running Chris? Mine is 7.0.5730.11

BTW, my image posted is a PNG that is a higher res - that's why it looks better...

My IE version is 6.0.2900.2180

Our Apps at work don't support and/or are not friendly with IE 7.0 so we have been unable to make that jump.
At home I use Maxthon exsclusively.

This problem should be fixed. Took some digging but I found it - appears it was a Javascripting error. Let me know if you're still having this problem crop up.

Let me try this with a "quote"

"quote" works good for me now.
Let's try "modify"

Both are working for me now and I was having problems with them earlier today.

Both seem to be working for me also...

EDIT: But my Logo still has the whitebackground. :)

That's because your browser doesn't support transparency. :shake:

You're welcome! I work thousands and thousands of hours a day on the forum. (I've unlocked the time-space continuum with the help of some "skilled" labor)

Next on the hit parade is that annoying n/t/t/n/t/ at the top that we get from time to time.

Mike, I've noticed that it has started doing the same thing again. :(

Edit: Checking to see if it does it when I "modify"
Edit1: It seems fine when I "modify" now checking "quote"
Edit2: It only seems to be doing it when I quote things :headscratch:

I just mentioned this to Mike ...uh...yesterday... I figured I was the only one again, I also tested and saw that it was only when I qouted things....

From the fart sack...

I had updated some files, so there's a possibility that I overwrote the fix from previously. I'll have a look when I get freed up - probably next week.

Glad that you got it fixed for those of us still on IE 6. Those of us who are in the military are still stuck on IE 6.

I spent last night searching for the fix, but it turns out that the site that had the fix is being rebuilt, so I've been unable to come up with the information. I'll keep at it...

Well - I thought maybe I was seeing things - but it looks like Im having the same problems after quoting in a response. My logo appears fine, but I can't get back to the main www.ultimateyota.com page - because all the links are missing. The only way for me to get back is to retype the address or click on my bookmark

(using firefox 2.0.0.12) and IE7

I just looked at the links, and after quoting, it takes me back into the forum section where i posted (normal) but then the top links are missing and when you click on the logo in the top left, it takes me here

http://www.ultimateyota.com/smf/index.php

but when you click forum list from the links at the top off any other page or when you don't quote in your post response, it takes you here
