I just got back from the Air Force - South Carolina State game. The crowd went nuts when the stadium announcer said the Michigan-App State final score. Right now I am watching Notre Dame getting their asses handed to them by Georgia Tech. BTW...AF won 34-3.

Lloyd Carr must go. And I'm not a fair weather Michigan fan either.

If last year's Rose Bowl pasting by the Trojans wasn't enough, now Lloyd Carr has no excuses anymore. i'd hate to be the athletic director at Michigan now taking all the angry calls from the well heeled Michigan alums.

The Michigan game was hilarious. As a UW grad, I know that Ann Arbor is a whore!

The CSU game was terrible, but the drinking was decent.

The Notre Dame game was an embarrassment. I saw that dude get tossed and knew they were in for it.

The thing I hate most about college football is watching people who know nothing about the games come to them drunk out of their minds and ruin it for those who actually may watch the game. As such, I rarely attend college ball games anymore.

cheese: despite the first game embarassment, michigan will still beat wisconsin this year ;)

notre dame: i took great delight watching 3rd string ND quarterback jimmy overhyped clausen fail miserably as well. he played 4 years of cupcake high school football, no competition whatsoever, big stats, and a media machine behind hom. hope he gets a big time smacking this year :)

im looking forward to labor day clemson vs FSU, now thats a game that either side can win, its going to be an unpredictable game for me. knowing that Clemson has a young defense and a new quarterback this year, however hes still better then our QB from last year freakin Will proctor.

I just hope we slaughter FSU, but things may go the other way.

SC state sucks anyways
Maybe so but it was nice to see the new offense and head coach for the first time. It was weird seeing a team that has run the triple-option since the late 70s line up in the shotgun for their first offensive play of the season.

get this, the sad thing is, i have no idea where SC state is and im from SC

some ppl will confuse SC state with USC gamecocks (despise this team though)

im sure airforce will give CSU a new bunghole, but im tailgating every home game so who cares.

today, i got into my 4runners nad loaded groceries in the back seat. lo and behold, there lies my michigan wolverines hat. blue and maize, just sitting there. in my life as a wolverine fan, i have never ever been ashamed to wear that hat. even last year's brutal beat down by southern call, i wore the maize and blue on my head in the land of SC and UCLA. but after this weekend, there's no way i'm putting that on my head until i see a few significant wins in the W column. so sad :(

Bob, I am sadly removed from the Badgers since I graduated. They had one too many "Let's be good and then forget the last game or two."

It is embarassing, especially at home.

Alas, I am at a loss. I wish i could converse on this subject.

I've never cared for football, nor for the carousing associated with college ball games.

Here at CU, the college attendees find it entertaining to hurl AA thru D sized batteries at each other in the crowd. Now one must pass through a thorough search to be cleared of weaponry.

I am intrigued to find out that my CU Buffs beat CSU. Generally our team is too busy raping girls and enjoying the perks that our tuition pays for to give much thought to winning a damn thing.

i cant believe it but we kept our head in the game again Cal (now ranked 8th) and kept it sorta close.

Clemson I hope keeps up in the ranking at 20th now.

VT, i didnt watch it but that had to be a sucky game.

No worries Tom. Penn State's victory over notre dame was like the Globetrotters beating the local actors hired to play against them ;)

The thing that is so shocking about Michigan going 0 and 2 is the fact that they consistently have great teams year after year. I think i saw a factoid saying UofM has not gone 0-2 since 1959.

I hope they can pull it off during the regular season. But ch#t, they better beat ND and that lame ass Jimmy Clausen

Yeah Bob... Penn State hasn't gone 0-2 since, oh....2001. :P

Chad Henne is out for the ND game this weekend. You have to think that both teams will get things turned around. Unfortunately for me, PSU plays at Michigan the next week, so if Lloyd Carr is still employed, he'll surely have them prepared...

I'm just annoyed that ND and Michigan play eachother this weekend... one of them will have to end up with a win :flipoff:

maybe michigan still has a chance of salvaging the season! penn state was lackluster. michigan wanted the game more than PSU and i would say PSU has a better roster

Clemson is now 4-0 at rank 13

we play GT next week, i hope we come on top, but will be a close game regardless.

LSU beat the crap out of South Carolina with a limping starter QB and a benched star WR.. made me feel even better :)

cant wait for next weekends games.

bump

South Carolina looses again to a non ranked team twice in a row, being they were 6th two weeks ago.

UGA beats Florida

BC comes back on VT like crazy mad

Clemson is on a role again raping maryland and beat the hell out of central mich last weekend.

Ok, this season is wacky. Some of the interesting games (to me):

- Great that Oregon beat Univ. of Spoiled Children. USC is not the juggernaut that it used to be. Good to see another PAC 10 team get the limelight too.

- Ok you Michigan haters, how'dya like us now? :) Again, the Big 10 showdown will be Michigan and Ohio State. And yes, OSU will cream Michigan again this year :( OSU is just so good this year. Hard for me to admit, but damn, they are the complete team.

I dunno man, what has OSU accomplished this year and what hard team have they really beat? Purdue and Penn State are the only teams they have beat ranked, and both were in the 20s.

well who has thoughts on this season, both mizzou and west virginia just lost.

who do you think is going to the BCS title game?

ohio state and kansas I think, some think LSU may come back, but it may just be Ohio state and Georgia.

this season is fubared so much its ridiculous
