View Full Version : Running Linux (DDWRT) on my linksys router

This might be interesting for people who have linksys wrt54 series routers. I loaded dd-wrt into it and got away from the original linksys firmware.
It's more stable, and there are far more settings available to tweak the router.

Depending on the model and the internal memory you can even run extra services like samba or openvpn on the router. Mine doesn't have much flash memory, so I have to run the minimum operating system.
