as we were coming down the hill from the trail thats what we drove up on. there was a guy there in another truck and he said some kid was drifting it around the corners and lost control, and the kid just took off leaving the truck there. so we decided to push it out of the way. a little while later the kid showed up with some friends and then the forest service and cops showed up shortly after.

Yeah, that damn retard in his stupid f**d. Haha. Kid must have been 16, he was way young. When we were just leaving he showed up, i rolled down my window and asked him if it was his truck. He said yes and looked as if he was about to cry. He was sh**ing bricks for sure. I bet the cops laid into him so hard.

Anyways. Aaron, it was good to see some video and hopefully someone caught some video of your amazing wheeling. You know the spot i'm talking about. Haha, that was so good. All i have is pics. So here they all are.

The stupid f**d again. First i rammed it and pushed it slightly out of the way so Charles and I could hook up to it and winch it out of the way. That didnt work to well cause the truck was just digging itself into the ground as we were trying to pull it. Then I got around it and hook up a tow strap and pulled it while the FJ rammed it and pushed. That moved it pretty well and we got it to a safe place out of the way.

Just thought i would share this info. I filled up my gas tank before i left and filled up when i got home. 150 miles of freeway driving and 8 hours of the truck in 4WD and most of the time in Low range with lockers in and out. About 45 miles offroad. I averaged 11.6mpg. Hell yeah! Haha.

Yeah, fires suck. The whole trail is nasty now. Just super dry and the dirt is very powdery. Especially since there has been no rain in quite a while. This is the first time i have been on this trail and i just kept imagining how nice it would have been if there hadnt been a fire.

Yep. Hooked off to the sway bar. Haha. I was surprised it held up. There was no where else to hook up on that damn truck. Not even with the shackles i had. I hope we didnt cause him any extra damage. Ha! We made things so much worse by moving that truck. It was kinda fun.

Thanks. The tires did great. First time i had them offroad also. I did chunk them up a little. I guess thats what happens when your spinning mudders on a rock though. Haha.
