Vortex make some pretty good sounding mufflers, but it may be a bit louder than what you want.

A lot of folks seem to like Flowmasters. I found some video clips of various Flowmasters on Toyota trucks: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Toyota+flowmaster I didn't see any clip of a Flowmaster with a 3VZE, but those videos should give you an idea of what it sounds like.

I couldn't find any video or sound clip of the vortex. I know it exists, but can't remember where. :D

Definitely get a "Flowmaster 50-Series SUV." They can be ordered from Summit racing for about $100 IIRC, and they sound very good. Deep, but no in-cab resonation; excellent muffler!

I'm pretty sure this is the one I have- Centered input, offset output, 2.5" with 2.5" Catco Hi-Flow cat as well.

Flowmaster 50-Series SUV part number FLO-52557 (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=FLO%2D52557&N=700+304505+4294906131+4294906122+4294906132+4294 904125+115&autoview=sku)

Why just the muffler when you can do the exhaust for that much? buy a magnaflow high flow cat off ebay, buy whatever muffler you want, go to a local muffler shop and have them bend you the right tubing (from the cat back) and either clamp it on yourself or weld it if you know how.

this is what i did on mine. i also have a flopro muffler and it sounds saweet at idle and low rpms but not loud at the high rpms.

I had a shop do a cat back on my old truck for a little more than that and it was a good little mod.

Even with the higher end cat back I have now, the truck is not loud enough for sound to be a big deal. If you don't mind just getting the sound you get, going to the larger pipe diameter opens up the higher RPM range a bit.
