I went off roading this weekend and blew out 2 tires on rocks. I now need to replace 3 tires (my spare wasn't the same type).
Currently I have Nitto's. I only have about 5k on them and 2 are toast. Previously I had BFG's and they worked great (on my 16's), but I changed to 18's so I decided to try Nitto's.
Decision:
- do I buy 3 new Nitto's (co incidence that the side walls blew?)
- do I buy 4 new BFG's (and use the Nitto's for spares)
Considerations:
- Nitto 32.52" diameter and BFG is 32.6" diameter. I currently rub on the left a little, not sure whether the BFG size would make that much of a difference.
- the price difference between the 2 is about $10 each.
- these are my off road tires, I have another set of wheels/tires for daily use.
What should I do?
