What was she really trying to accomplish?
As far as I'm concerned, she should feel very lucky to be alive at this point.
I view this, in terms of freedom (the right), as in the difference between the first amendment and yelling fire in a movie theater when there really is no fire.
Next time she pulls a move like this, hopefully they'll pull the trigger.

That's no different than yelling "bomb" in the airport or on a plane.

She should have been killed. The fact that she's still alive, raises serious concerns about the current state of our airport security. Something like this should be a zero-tolerance situation.
It's clear that we are not even close to being prepared for suicide bombers, yet.
I hope they throw the book at her.

Gimme a break....the next terrorist act in the US won't be at an airport.
Why?......because that's where everyone expects it to be.
I do agree the girl needs serious meds though. :screwy:

Death upon threat in public community. What if that really happened, innocents would have died because of some stupid girl.
attention whore she is, attention she deserves by being shot threatening innocent people.
i have nothing more to say, that pisses me off

jamie,
id have to agree and disagree. airports have always been a target for terrorists, but i will say that its probably less likely (but not completely unlikely) so after 9/11
ok, the chick is a real idiot. art my ass. perhaps she was making a statement, but maybe next time a cop can make a statement by busting a cap through her eccentric mind :hillbill:
geez, she's lucky that corey wasn't on duty that day

See what happens when ugly people don't get laid?
I'm glad they didn't shoot her. It would have simply ended up in a huge lawsuit and a bunch of police bashing and then more restrictions would have been put down on the security people making them hesitate longer before shooting again, in which case an actual terrorist may get away.
Besides, she's going to get "laid" in prison, probably from behind, so she will get the attention she was looking for.

I'm gonna have to disagree with everyone, she never once gave the impression nor mentioned anything about it being a bomb or any kind of explosive device. Have you seen the device, it was a simple circuit board with green LED's in a circular pattern.
What suicide bomber in their screwed head would even think about wearing something that silly, they try to keep a low profile so they can infiltrate further.

I agree with you Bruce but not everyone is as good at spotting fakes as we are.
Here's the supposed "bomb" she carried on her person:
