I'd like to know if any of you guys and gals have an HID setup in your rig(s). If so, please list the kit and post pics if you could please. Just curious as to what everyone is running.

I'm pretty sure everyones going to tell you if you opt for HIDs better go with projectors and retrofit them into your headlight to prevent glare

I tried the aftermarket HIDs with the casper shield and it still emits a lot of glare. Thats when I decided to retro fit a pair of E55 Bi-Xenon projectors to be on the safe side. Now I have the best of both worlds, Hi beam and low beam with no glare and lots of light.

Here are pics:

Yeah, I know that the retrofit would be the best, but no time with a 2 1/2 year old running around the house. lol

I used to have the Xenon Depot HID kit but after the accident I don't have any. I'm in the middle of rebuilding my front end and will install a newer verison of XD's HID setup. check out their swag at http://www.xenondepot.com. They got some great stuff!

O and they're all plug and play. Though the setup I had was using the projectors so the beam pattern was significantly better. Not sure how it looks on a halogen setup but they do have kits for halogen style housing.

Good luck!

I haven't seen your truck around here...but I recognized your parking structure pictures you have

So what setup did you decided to go with?

Haven't decided yet on which ones yet, but looking at the ones here on mod-express.com . You can get a single beam xenon for $140 shipped or $130 picked up in Ontario if you use the code "toynation". Looking for a bi-xenon bulb with that extra big glare shield.

The parking structure is at my work in Studio City on the CBS Studio lot there.
