There's been some confusion on how to use the URL button along with descriptive text (instead of simply pasting the full URL)

Here's a quick snapshot of how I use this feature. I've found it is pretty easy now that I'm used to it.

Step 1

Type in your link text:

This is my link text.

Step 2

Copy the URL you want to link to to the clipboard (ctrl+c)

Step 3

Highlight your link text:

This is my link text.

Step 4

With your link text highlighted, hit the hyperlink (http://www.ultimateyota.com/smf/Themes/rt_smf_versatility2_lime/images/bbc/url.gif) button. This will place the URL tags around your text (I'm using curly brackets so it will show up).

{url}This is my link text.{/url}

Step 5

Insert your cursor after the "L" in the first "url" and type an = sign:

{url=}This is my link text.{/url}

Then paste (ctrl+v) your URL:

{url=http://www.ultimateyota.com/url}This is my link text.{/url}

There you have it!!

Cool! I've been wondering how to do that. I'm gonna try it.

Click here (http://www.ultimateyota.com/)

I'll see if that works.
