Justin and I went to Fun in the Desert on Saturday. This was first large scale off road event that either of us had ever been to. There were probably close to 100 vehicles out there.

We ran the Fischer Mountain trail. This trail is considered one the easier trails in the Johnson Valley/Hammers region, but it was still very challenging with plenty of good rock crawling (We finally got to put our rock sliders to good use) and a steep descent that will test your driving skills... one wrong move and you'll be doing en-dos the whole way down. We had a great spotter who helped us get down that section of the trail.

Here are some pictures from our day...

This section was pretty gnarly, I thought Justin was going to flop it at one point, but his sick driving skillz saved the day :smokin:

We took a detour to Jackhammer to watch other rigs come up. Here are a couple shots...

An awesome trip and no one got hurt. Only one Jeep broke at the the top of Jackhammer and had to be left overnight. I'm looking forward to next years event!
