I rode up to Mt Aetna Sunday afternoon (10/14) and brought along Cort and one of her good friends Matthew.
I went back to the powerlines that Brad (Mossyrocks) showed me last time we were there, and had a blast, the Liberator A/T's I bought (Thanks Brad) were a tremendous help over the blad street tires I had before. Although, I would have liked to have Brad's spotting as well...
Anyway, on to the pics.
These are just the "highlights" as always, all the rest of the pics are in an album here: http://s86.photobucket.com/albums/k112/04RockoTaco/Aetna%2010%2014%2007/?start=all

Here is a very short vid of me trying to get up the first set of ledges on the BIG hill.

Here is after a couple of attempts, I got over the first set, only to be confounded by the second ledge...

We had a great trip, for a last minute ride that almost didnt happen. There were quite a few new wrecked rigs out there, a burned out Jeep Cherokee on the main trail, just about a 1/4 mile in, that was still smoking, and there was a little red Nissan pickup down near the PB hole, stripped out and crushed...
I was there just two weeks ago, and saw at least 4 rig 'carcasses' that werent there before...

Also, some yay-hoo decided he would set fire to a couple of the big downed trees out on the powerlines, thankfully someone had put them out, but they were still smoldering a bit while we were there...

TO the people involved in those activities.... I would just like to thank you, for helping us get all of our precious trails closed down... I mean, who wants to wheel anyway, right? :spank: :flipoff:

It was a great time.....

And if I had to say about the pumpkins, I would say that I hope I am the winking one in the back left, but Cort will probably say I am the tall goofy one in the middle. :)
