I would really like it and it would make more sense, if those rims were 16's and it was a longtravel frontend. I HATE LO-PRO MUD TERRAINS!!!!!

I like it till you get to the front. To me the grill just looks goofy on it but I'm sure its one of those things where I would grow to like it over time.

damn. not a bad idea in my opinion. there are definitely some things that need a few tweaks here and there, but i like the idea and where they are headed.

now if they'd only make a 4-door FJ like that with a fully removable top... :D

the FJ front clip seems to angle up and get higher than the body lines of the runner are flowing for... kind of gives it a snot nosed look, Other than that, I think its alright.

Looked at it yesterday. I definately like the concept, but could use a little refinement. The reason for the wheels is that is what the sponsors were giving away.
Really liked the convertible FJ, just wish they would do this on the 4Runner wheel base to get a little more cargo space.

Oh man, that's pretty close to my dream beast... a 3rd gen style body/interior on a FJ everything else. I like it. Well, maybe not the front end so much, but everything else... :D

back to the thread, I'm still not diggin the look and feel. Maybe if they used the FJ's widebody LT fenders w/ the Total Chaos LT kit then maybe it might look better? who knows. (someone want to send me the fender and front facial so I can just plug it on my 4runner to show ya guys? :D

its a cool idea. it obviously needs tweaking but when you look at the side profile, the front end of the FJ looks too squat for the sleek 4runner body. the FJ body is much more stocky and muscular to accommodate that squat front end. i dont think it fits well with the 4runner body...

My 2 cents... I like it and I must admit that if the price was right I think that I would buy one!!! :thumbup:
