Almost a standard Nigerian scam letter....... they'll send a cashiers check or something similar for an over amount and expect you to send the excess back. Have your friend string them along, but don't use his real name........

this place is the best!

Get back to me with your full name and address including ur mobile phone number and the final price you are willing to sell your item so i can forward them to my client for the immediate issue out of the Check. Please contact me asap via email for futher questions as regards this transaction.if you really show willingness in selling this item asap.Thank You and I am expecting your response through this e-mail address xxxxx@yahoo.com
Thanks xxxxx

knew it was a scam because of the lack of specific terms such as ITEM instead of CAR, and the request for personal info including my cell number.

i reported this message to facebook. cmon people, just use common sense!

I got a scam offer from craigslist. I returned the e-mail stating I decided to sell the parts for 100 times the original price......no response.
