Ive been looking at doing the Tundra caliper upgrade. do i have to upgrade the rotors(bigger or diff ones??) to do this upgrade or can i use stock 4runner roters ?

you'll need the proper sized tundra rotors. there are two differnet sizes that correspond to the two different sizes calipers. check the tundra brake thread here...lots of info there

you will need new rotors, which is the main reason for the swap, as the stock 4runner rotors are very thin and very prone to warping quite badly. the beefier tundra ones are thicker, but no bigger in diamater. there is a HUGE thread here: http://www.ultimateyota.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=54.0

hope that thread answers all your other questions.

oh and welcome to the forums!

oh and someone beat me to it!

The 4runner rotors won't work with Tundra calipers and even if they did it would be pointless to use them. The biggest benefit to the upgrade (as was pointed out above) is the heftier rotors that came on Tundras. Follow the link to the brake thread, plenty of info in there to do the swap.
