I got all 5 of mine for 450. 1/2 tread left on the tires and the spare was brand new. I am also running Spidertrax spacers front and rear.

That is a really nice rig. A bit off topic but any more pics of it? So Matt can see more of the Fj wheels... and we can oogle at a cool 3rd gen...

That's a sick photo. I like both styles of the fj wheels on a 3rd gen 4runner.

I have the FJ wheels in the 4runner back at home. Mine still has the FZJ-80 wheels. From what my sister says....they look badass..LOL

I'll trade my trd tundra wheels for some fj wheels. Anyone???

If you like to wheel hard this will not be your wheel. They look good new yet show rock rash like no other. The spokes are flush with the outer rim and love to leave their finish on rocks. I'm still happy despite my driving habits given the price. When bumping to 35's I'll switch and retire these.

I agree. The flat face of the rims provides for excellent rock rash. Its all good. Chicks dig it. Werd!

if you wheel hard, you shouldnt get fj wheels because theyre a pricey alternative to cheaper ones that do the job better

I paid 450 for mine. Definitely not expensive. 4 of them had minor rash and the tires had about 50% tread left. The spare was brand new, including the tire. I then painted them black. When i get some rash, i simply touch it up with some spray paint and they are good to go. Tell me, how does one wheel compared to the other work better?

its all a matter of opinion, but i would like a steel offroad wheel... not aluminum. they can be had cheap too.

Steel is easier to pound back into shape to after bending them up against a rock. However, its rotating weight causes more stress and fatigue on axles and such.

true, but for a trail only rig, that doesnt matter so much, esp if its being towed :)

Does anyone know the back spacing for the FJ rims?

I think its like 5 to 5.5", its a lot. Another option is the Sequoia wheel at 4.5" backspacing.

Same style with the tacoma rims. They look nice but the face is a bit flat. These are the ones I have right now with my 265/75's. I'm gonna have to sell them in the next month or so since I bought some 80 series rims.
