One year I went to a vegetarian thanksgiving. http://calrockx.com/etc/pics/forums/_other/smilies/down-3.gif

But not this year!
I'm going to San Francisco for the week.

Have fun y'all.
The Today show said the average American consumes 5000 calories for the Thanksgiving meal. I'm shootin for 10,000...

We had Thanksgiving dinner at home. I have been pensive all day considering the many things and events for which I am grateful. As I sat at the head of our table and surveyed my wife, children and their grandparents, I conclusively understood the thing for which I am most grateful of all the bounty in my life. I have experienced freedoms others can only dream of. I have known people who've inspired and edified me everlastingly. I have gained and lost comparative fortunes only to recover again. I have benefitted from a protective power the here to fore is yet unexplained. But the gift for which I'll be enduringly most grateful is the look of love and trust in the faces of my family members and the knowledge that they are mine forever.

I hope you all had a fulfilling Thanksgiving celebration. Without gratitude and the understanding of it's importance, there can be no real happiness in life. I thank Providence for mine.

I am a little late but I would like to hope everyone had a nice fattening turkey day! I took Katy and the kids to Maryland to see her dad that she hasn't saw in 15 years. Then on our way back we got some good scenic pics from the Potomac, WV, and VA.
