Claire and I joined some friends on Friday and went wheeling with them. I have to tell ya', I think I have created a wheeling monster of sorts. I got to drive my truck once in two days because Claire was all over it. Now, it was to climb a sand hill that no one could make it up, not even Claire in my truck, but that was it. Fortunately, I made it up the hill in my truck.
The was no real breakage. We tore a mud flap and bent the antenna, nothing big there.
Richard who was the unofficial trail leader did an awesome job leading us through. He hit up hard stuff for himself and another gentleman in some hooked up jeeps as well as found stuff that was fun for my 4runner, the least capable of the group. My friend's "Slamuri" did really well to with just a rear locker.
I am really impressed at what 31's and open diffs did on this truck. It does a much better job keeping the wheels on the ground than my 1st gen did.
Now to the pictures!
