Well its time for Goldmember to be double locked....I got a TRD e-locker for a steal, regeared it, replaced the bearings, and then it sat in my garage for 4 months....

Not anymore

Today I tore down my front axle, and prepped it for the 3rd member...

Hope I can figure out where all the parts go

I ran out of steam this afternoon, so the saga will continue.....

How much can I get for an open 4cyl third with brand new Yukon 4.88 gears and bearings??

I went through 2 rolls of paper towels today.....solid axles are messy!!

Mine should be done next week. Making time is hard.

he had a beehive in his radiator.

Well, apparently those bees were making it hard to keep traction in certain steep off camber situations, so it must have been a grip of 'em!

Not for long, I would imagine... :yikes:

Big tires, locker, and wheels at full lock... snappy snappy.

Oh wait. He's got a 3.0. He'll be fine. :tapedshut: :hillbill:

I am running stock birfs for now. I figure with 33's and a selectable locker I will be ok. I do carry 2 spares with me just in case.

I just need to finish up the welding, drilling, and tapping then I can put my ride back together. I ordered and e-locker skid from Sky, and I plan on having 12voltguy build the harness and custom switch panel.

I am also going to install my winch....I need to get it all done by X-Mas.

Dont worry Bob, I got the grey RTV

Got a lot done today. The part I thought would be the hardest was no big deal. Today I had my buddy weld a bead where the long studs go, I filed the down, drilled the holes, and tapped them. I guess I got them pretty straight, because it went together very smooth....

Nevermind the mess I made with the RTV

Today I "got er done" With the exception of a stripped steering arm stud and the harness for the electrics my e-locker install is done

I was thinking about getting rid of the brake backing plates, but with no where to run the brake lines, I opted to cut the stiock backing plates (thanks Pirate4x4)

Nice install Mark. There's nothing quite like getting stuck, reaching over and hitting the magic button and having the truck crawl on...

"I'm too close for missles. Switching to guns" Such a cool switch for the locker!

Marc showed this to me earlier this week. Really high quality electrical wiring job. Looks real good. If I had done a elocker swap I would do this wiring in a heart beat over the work to make the factory switch work with all the other stuff. So simple!

Lets go beat the hell out of it Marc! Superstition 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
