My bumper is off, getting some paint treatment

Took it in, right before I leave for home, should have it in time to put it back on in time before I head to the airport, Finish Date is said to be tuesday, I leave on a plane thurs morning, so one day to put it on with the exception of my plant civ exam on that day.

hint hint to what color its gonna be. i think most of yall can figure that one out :)

well ive driven by numerous cops without it on, and ive seen 3 other trucks with it off, another 4runner, a nissan frontier and a dodge ram. so i guess its not big deal

Go for the lightforce. Troy has em, and they are BAD!!!!! (in a good way :D )

Plus, I like the cover they have, totally replaceable, but clear, so you don't have to take it off to run the lights, and they are protected 100% of the time.

Plus again, they look sweet.

supposedly it's not powdercoating lance it's factory matched paint, i told blake that it looked like a pc'd grey. and i think it cost a little under 200

Lance went to a bodyshop, cost less then 150.

I have a number for a powdercoating company in longmont and Issac got his powdercoated by somebody in denver.

I cant afford to spend 1100 on the front for an Armorology when I still need a rear bumper from them. I'll get these mounts reinforced on the tjm and ill just save up my money for a rear armorology bumper from Jed.

I like the paint. Looks good. If I had the money I would get those Lightforces. With the adjustable beams and the interchangeable covers its the way to go. Plus, I'm sure you've seen the vid with the shotgun to the covers.

You will not be sorry about the Lightforce Stryker 170s. These things rock. There is also a HID upgrade for the 170s that I know of that will double the candlepower. Frankly however, I currently don't need a pair of 700,000 candlepower lights, 350,000 is just fine. :thumbup: PM me if you have any questions.

Blake, the bumper turned out nice...although, I think it would look even better had you left the bumper pads unpainted. A touch of black would go really well with that much silver.

Still though, it looks good. An plans to run a winch up front?

i think the pads look better painted then not, if you see netw12s bumper it just looks out of place with black pads.

yeah ill get an m8000 with synth line soon, but im not gonna get one until i can afford the line as well with a inchworm fairlead.

also going to be building a top notch cargo system even without my 4runner, Sean will send me some measurements and hopefully i can build off of those.

blake if you don't need lights right now i highly suggest you hold off on the 170/240 purchase. they're releasing a new design that'll rock everyone's world :)

new product is suppose to be the same size as the 4000 but better and still feature all of the perks of a lightforce! price will be roughly the same as a 4000 too!

yeah I saw them back in October when they came for SEMA and showed me their new line of productions. They're going through testing right now and was hoping to get in on the testing but since my 4runner was dead that deal went south :( Anyway they're suppose to go into full production now and be ready for sale during Q1/Q2 2008 so watch for them soon.

I now have three 240 XGT's and I will say that the new lights will be perfect for those who didn't want the 240's cuz of the size (too big) and the 170's (cuz it's too small) :)

i would if i had my truck to wheel with, im in SC while its in CO :)

right now i think im just gonna ask for pure money, and then get the charger, after that save up for the fuel upgrades.

my parents wont get me a winch, and i usually ride with a group anyways. winch will be there soon enough, but not till i fix the mounts on the tjm.
