ive been using the 500s for sometime nothing wrong with them but i wanted a bigger light so i went the 700s from here www.buyautotruckaccessories.com (http://www.buyautotruckaccessories.com)
i havint got a chance to use the 700s at night yet cant wait to get the 99+ headlights should look really good

you could have converted those 500's to HID.......

is there a conversion for 500? i was looking around and couldnt find anything. maybe i need to look harder.

lol i could of but i dont think hid likes beeing shut on and off alot i dont go off road at all at night

I thought you had to have bigger to do the HID

I installed another kit in my Hella 500 fog lamps, and Holy Cow! What a difference! The
Hella 500's focus the beam into a great pattern and provides incredible side light.

This is from a reply at TTORA on my thread about doing an HID conversion. He did his 4000's then decided to try it on his 500's

same kit, but you use H3 bulbs instead of H1 that the 4000's use...

ill have to order the kit and attack dad's driving lights :) happy birthday dad!


back on topic, id like to see how bright they are at night, and how much light they put out to the sides.

im working on trading my x mas gift for a camera also i scored a 99+ headlight off ebay for less than $40 bucks gonna look really good with the 700s
